How to print and scan barcode in asp.net web application

Can anyone help me out how will I print and scan barcode from my web application developed in Visual Studio 2008, c#, asp.net 3.5, and I host my site at asphostportal.com

I have to create a string like"12345" for barcode and barcode printer will print that string with image.

How would I connect my web application with barcode printer and scanner?
